Corona changed my persona :)

The clock hanging opposite the wall is ticking 9:53. I am sitting in my bedroom with my windows wide open for cross ventilation.

Ah! before getting to my blog post, let me talk a little about myself as this is my first post here. I am a working woman, a mother, a daughter of caring parents, a wife of a loving husband and most certainly an avid reader. Writing my thoughts exempts my brains from clogging it, so I keep typing my thoughts whenever I get some time to do it.

Just about a month ago, things were normal for the whole world and people still had problems in their lives. Be it not being able to buy a house or heartbreak or fear of getting cheated or shopping sickness or hours of loneliness or pressure of the round the clock rushing day, life was normal with flaws.

Well, the world came to a standstill, when most countries announced a global lockdown. Now people have different problems. People who could buy everything with money could no longer do it. For some, now it’s still money to survive, and for some, it’s the loss in profits that they whimper.

For some, it is the art of living a real life with life skills enabled and for a few, it is their business that could shut down if not funded.

I would just say, that this day shall also pass. You are in the same downpour as others. If the global economy is going down, then the personal economy will also be pulled down. I can’t have a million if the worth of a thousand is that of a million. Well, it’s a hyperbole, but all I have to say is, everyone will have to sail through the same storm with different boats in hand. So, stay calm but careful to ride. Use this time to give some space to your brain.

I liked the agenda of Modi to keep India united with social distancing, by lighting candles all over the nation at the same time. It helped me see so many people, for once, without any reason. I cheered when everybody did and saw the same delight in others. I saw people emblazoning the lit of diyas as if it was a festive evening and not another locked down day.

For once, I saw a lot of people creating youtube channels showing their creative talents, be it sketching, cooking, blogging or crafting. Thanks to Corona, our creative minds started getting attention.

I am sure, most would not have thought so far, that they could live without maids, but see, you can! The more I wash my utensils, the more I realize the pain while cleaning them. Not that I never did it before, but yes, never did it continuously for days. The more I sweep my floor, the more I realize that I can never expect my maid to be so honest in sweeping 😛

I just wish that we don’t forget “Together we grow and never alone” when we will start wearing wheels on our heels all over again. Do not forget the lessons, this novel corona taught us, even if it dies out of vaccination or subsides naturally.

Feel your breath every day. Be happy that you have a life to live. Be kind and loving to people around you, and things will turn around naturally back to their positions.

Use this precious time to write a book, sketch a portrait, try your culinary skills, upscale your tech stack, research on some topics which you always wanted to know e.g. existence of life after death or genetic mutation 😛 Well, I leave the topics of your interests to you 😊

Disclaimer: The target audience is not the people who are stealing a few hours of the next day to work today. E.g. People with kids at home and have to work from home 😉. I am sure, we are sailing in the same boat if you are one of those readers. All we could do now is to upscale ourselves to reach our parent’s artistry. They did everything which we are struggling to do today 😊 let us talk to them whenever we get the time and show them that now we learnt what they did for us, all their lives. It is never too late to say this 😊

Stay home. Stay safe. Be positive.

Cool peace out everyone 😊

Wow, the blog surely gives a joyful ride of what life is like since a month and more. I personally liked the thought of giving the space to our brain which was much needed in chaotic life. Very well and collectively written which shows lock down is not only to loose but to gain more.

Beautifully written!…. .You can either choose to moan and groan on not being able to do the things you normally do OR you can just just do the things you couldn’t do in your normal routine…Mind’s play..

    • Absolutely. It is not easy, but this is the story that everyone knows, let’s live it with a new dimension towards it.
